"No tracking, no real updates"
I never got a tracking number, and trying to get an update was frustrating. I reached out to support and didn’t really get anything back, not even a simple “we’re checking on it” or “here’s what’s going on.” Just felt like I was left waiting with no idea where my order was.

"Packaging didn’t meet expectations"
I was expecting the order to be packed a lot better. It arrived in a flimsy box with barely any padding, so everything was shifting around inside. A few items had scuffs by the time I opened it, which was frustrating. For what I ordered, I figured the packaging would be more secure

"Everything came exactly as ordered"
I placed an order with milspecretail.com and everything showed up exactly how I picked it out. The sizes, colors, and items were all correct, which gives me a lot of confidence ordering from them again. Shipping wasn’t lightning fast, but it was totally reasonable. The only small thing is the packaging was basic, so I’d knock off a star for that. Overall though, it was a solid experience and they did a good job getting the order right.

"Wish there was a bit more to pick from"
I was kind of expecting more options, honestly. The site itself was fine, like it worked okay and everything, but the selection just felt a little thin. A few things I was looking for weren’t there, or if they were, the sizes were really limited. So yeah... not terrible, just not as much choice as I hoped...

"Stock info felt misleading"
I ordered something that was clearly showing as in stock, then a few days later they told me it wasn’t actually available. Frustrating and felt like a waste of time. Now I’m stuck waiting on a refund, and I’m slightly worried there might be some random fee or charge taken out of it. Not a great experience.

"Does the job, but feels a little clunky"
The site is okay overall. I could browse around and eventually found what I was looking for, but it felt a bit outdated in spots. A few pages took more clicks than I expected, and that part was kind of annoying. Search worked fine enough, though the filters could definitely be better. It’s not terrible or anything, just not the smoothest experience.

"Gear was rougher than I expected"
The surplus gear showed up looking way more worn out than the listing made it seem. It still kind of works, but something about it just feels a lot more beat up than I was expecting.

"Return was okay, but instructions could’ve been clearer"
The exchange itself was easy and everything worked out in the end. The refund took a few days to come through, which was fine, but I was expecting clearer instructions along the way so I knew exactly what to do next.

I reached out to customer service thinking it would be a quick, simple thing to sort out, but I never heard back at all. No reply, no update, nothing. It’s frustrating when something that should be easy turns into a hassle just because nobody responds.

"Sizing was pretty much right"
I ordered a jacket and a pair of pants, and the sizing was pretty much right. Both were close to the size chart, which was a relief. The pants were maybe a little roomy, just a little, but not enough to bother me or make me want to return them. Overall I’m happy with it, I’d just say double check your measurements before ordering.

"Shipping took way longer than it should have"
I ordered a small item and it just sat there for days with no real update. When I reached out, it kind of felt like my concern was brushed off, like the delay wasn’t a big deal. It ended up taking way longer than I expected to arrive, and I don’t think I’ll order from them again.
